Bob Fleck will present a book talk and discussion of migration. Bird, insect, and other creatures migrate annually, some stopping on their way to another place to mate and raise their young, others arrive and do the same in our area. There are even some that only migrate locally, from one environment to another. Many of the images in the book feature these visitors and how they enhance our lives and our environment.
Author and Photographer will be discussing his book, "Seasons At A New England Bog - A Photographic Essay" as well offering a presentation of images of nature taken in New Hampshire. An introductory images and music show will take you on a visual journey through the seasons via pages from the book and music by Vivaldi. Bob will then proceed to discuss how many of the images were captured, the process of turning over 10 years of photography into a 200 page book, and what keeps him going on his quest to support the protection of natural areas in the region.
Bob Fleck, photographer and author, presents a stunning array of photographs captured during all four seasons at Quincy Bog in Rumney, New Hampshire. In this presentation he will share stories of the natural life he encountered during his time spent chronicling the beauty of this conserved land. Seasons At A New England Bog: A Photographic Essay is available to be borrowed at the Moultonborough Public Library. Copies will be available to be purchased at this presentation. Fifty percent of all profits will be donated to the Pemi-Baker Land Trust to support their conservation work at location such as Quincy Bog.
Bohemian Home and the Squam Lakes Artisans will be hosting a presentation, book talk and sale. Both establishments will be open during the event. Please come and support these businesses as well as the Quincy Bog and have an enjoyable evening out. Bring the whole family.
Bob Fleck, Author and Photographer will be hosting a reception to introduce his 2 month exhibition of Nature Photography at the McClane Center. During the reception he will make a presentation of photographs from his book, "Seasons At A New England Bog - A Photographic Essay" as well as other photographs of nature not included in the book or the exhibition. A discussion of how images were captured, the equipment used, techniques used will be included in the presentation. He will also sign copies of the book, which will be available from the Audubon Gift Shop at the center.
Bob Fleck, Holderness NH author and photographer, will be exhibiting many of his Fine Art Photography images in the large meeting room at the McLane Audubon Center. The photographs were taken during his times walking in the beautiful natural areas throughout New England. A focus will be on New Hampshire locations but will include images from neighboring states as well. His book, "Seasons At A New England Bog - A Photographic Essay" is available in the store at the McLane Center as well. Each purchase benefits the Audubon Society of NH and the Pemi-Baker Land Trust, owners and caretakers of the Quincy Bog Natural Area in Rumney, NH.
Author will be signing copies of Seasons at a New England Bog for owners of the book. Copies will be available for purchase. Bob's photography will also be on display the month of November for viewing and purchase.
Bob Fleck, Holderness author and photographer, will offer a 45 minute slide presentation about photographing the Quincy Bog Natural Area in Rumney, NH. This important conserved area is the primary source of photographs and inspiration for his recently released book "Seasons at a New England Bog - A Photographic Essay". The session will end with Q & A and a book signing. Copies of the books and other photography will be available for purchase. 50% of all profits from sales of the book will be donated to the Pemi-Baker Land Trust, owners and caretakers of the Quincy Bog Natural Area.

This will be followed by Q & A and the opportunity to purchase a copy of the book and get it signed by the Author. Remember, 50% of all profits will be donated to the Pemi-Baker Land Trust, owners and caretakers of the Quincy Bog.
The Author/Photographer will be on site at the Howling Coyote Gift Shop to sign books sold on site.
There will a Book Sales and signing on July 22, 2023, hosted by Chase Street Market on Main Street in Plymouth, NH. Bob Fleck, the author/photographer will be on site to talk to people about the book as well as signing books purchased at the event. Further details will be available closer to the date.
